The hedgehog concept is explained in the book entitled, "Good to Great" written by Jim Collins. As you can see from the image, the hedgehog concept is found within the three circles. I'll briefly describe in more detail what these three circles represent.
What you can be the best in the world at. Just because you are good at something doesn't necessarily mean you can be the best in the world at it. Focus on that one thing that you can be the best in the world at!
What drives your economic engine. What brings you the most success? What brings in more profit for your business? Find that thing, and exploit it!
What are you deeply passionate about? Focus on what you are passionate about. The idea is not to stimulate passion, but figure out what makes you passionate!
